Radio Canada International, en collaboration avec UNICEF Québec, présente À ciel ouvert, une collection de six courts documentaires proposés par l’auteure compositeure interprète et ambassadrice d’UNICEF Québec, Stéphanie Lapointe, et les cinéastes Eza Paventi et Dominique Laurence. Chacun des courts raconte le quotidien des hommes, des femmes et des enfants qui ont vu leur existence bouleversée suite aux crises humanitaires au Darfour et au Rwanda. Des sujets tels que le courage, la résilience et le souvenir sont abordés à travers six récits personnels. Éric n'a pas vécu le génocide rwandais de 1994 puisqu'il est né en exil. Pourtant, il a décidé de rentrer au pays et s'est installé à Kigali. Il y tourne maintenant des films et y caresse un projet, la création d'une école de cinéma.
