تأسس دار الإنماء الاجتماعي عام 1996 تحت الرعاية الكريمة لصاحبة السمو الشيخة موزا بنت ناصر، رئيس مجلس إدارة مؤسسة قطر للتربية والعلوم وتنمية المجتمع.
والدار منظمة اجتماعية تنموية غير ربحية منبثقة عن مؤسسة قطر للتربية والعلوم وتنمية المجتمع وعضو في كل من الشبكة العربية للمنظمات الأهلية غير الهادفة للربح، ومنظمة الأسرة العالمية والمجلس الاقتصادي والاجتماعي بهيئة الأمم المتحدة.
The Social Development Center has come a long way since 1996. It was established under the patronage of Her Highness Sheikha Mozah Bint Nasser, Chairperson of Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development.
A non-profit, social and development organization, the center is a member of Qatar Foundation for Education, Science, and Community Development. SDC is a member of the Arab NGO Network, the World Family Organization, and the United Nations Economic and Social Council.
